Royal Artillery Institution (RAI)
The Royal Artillery Institution (RAI) exists for the promotion of the efficiency of the Royal Regiment of Artillery and the Officers, Warrant Officers and Other Ranks thereof.
What does this actually mean? The RAI makes grants, donations and loans to the Serving Regiment to enable them the best chance of success for every component of fighting power. Whether that be supplying funds for Regimental Sports or Adventurous Training, ensuring the preservation of our heritage or supporting celebrations such as Battery or Regimental Birthdays, the RAI is always there to ensure the Royal Regiment can thrive and that morale is maintained.
The RAI also plays a large administrative role in supporting the other two Royal Artillery charities and in the preservation of the Regimental Archive.
